This collection contains 44 color and black and white 16mm films shot by a father and son from the 1930s to the 1960s. Over 30 rolls were shot by the father, R.J. Taylor, and include footage of vacations, family and friends, and possibly overseas military stations. Nine rolls were shot by L.J. Taylor at Fort Bragg, NC during the 1960s.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The films were donated to the SC State Museum before being transferred to the University of South Carolina's McKissick Museum. John Heiting sent the collection to MIRC in the mid-1980s.
