Photographs of Watson Family of Greenwood, S.C., relatives, friends, and images for the IndexJournal Newspaper; circa 1855-circa 1975. The bulk of the collection are photographs acquired by the Index-Journal Company of Greenwood, S.C. for use in the newspaper. Harry L. Watson was editor.

Harry Legare Watson married Ella Dargan Watson. Children: Louise Montague, Elizabeth Sloan (Mrs. Potter), Margaret Josephine, Ella Virginia, John D. Watson.
