Scope and Contents Jules Furthman was a screenwriter who worked on many Hollywood films. He was also a collector of rare books and manuscripts, including a Shakespeare second folio and an original copy of a work by Montaigne. This collection was gathered by Matthew J. Bruccoli and focuses on the work by Montaigne.
