Scope and Contents Home movies of Martin Martin, unknown family, including 12 16mm films, 1 super 8 film, and 2 audio tapes. Approximate date range: 1946-1960. Collection was purchased by donor at a garage sale. All attempts at trying to track down the family of Martin Martin, of New York and New Jersey, has failed. Films cover Monticello and Highland Park, a film shot in Korea, and many films of family members in home settings and vacation trips to Atlantic City and Miami.

Melton film collection

Scope and Contents 85 films donated by colleagues of WBTV News Director Ervin Melton after his death and made by Melton’s production company CarMel Motion Picture Productions. The films were produced from 1950s into the 1970s in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia locations. Collection consists almost entirely of 16mm color and black and white films, both silent and sound. Also includes one 35mm film.

Minett family home movies collection

Scope and Contents Home movie collection containing 33 reels of color and black and white Super 8mm and 8mm films from the family of USC Professor Mark Minett. The two reels of 8mm were shot by the Mark's grandfather, Lewis. The rest were filmed by his father, Ed. The collection ranges from the 1940s through to the 1980s, and includes footage of family gatherings, vacations and outings, Christmas, Easter, and childrens' birthdays.

MIRC Award for Creative Editing

Scope and Contents The award celebrates innovative use of archival film footage in Media Arts 371: The Moving Image, a course that introduces undergraduates to all aspects of film and video production.
