Taylor family home movies

Scope and Contents This collection contains 44 color and black and white 16mm films shot by a father and son from the 1930s to the 1960s. Over 30 rolls were shot by the father, R.J. Taylor, and include footage of vacations, family and friends, and possibly overseas military stations. Nine rolls were shot by L.J. Taylor at Fort Bragg, NC during the 1960s.

United States Marine Corps film repository

Scope and Contents This collection is comprised of footage from 1941 to the mid-1970s. There are 12,300 reels of 16mm and 35mm film in the initial transfer. The footage was recorded by Marine Corps photographers and includes combat film from World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The films also document training, testing, and public relations activities.

Most of the films document USC's football and basketball programs; a handful document the university's track-and-field program. Scope and Contents This film collection consists of a mixture of 16mm, 8mm and Super 8mm films, from the 1920s through to the 1980s, and covers many subjects and places. Many are family films, and have comprehensive lists on the cans of the people shown in the films. Family events are covered including birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, trips and vacations and hunting/fishing trips with family and friends. There are a number of films about mills and some work trips abroad concerning mills and textile business.
