Scope and Contents The Edwin Hughes Collection, 1876-1965 includes correspondence, photographs, articles by and about Hughes, concert programs, teaching materials, and awards. Some of the articles and programs were formerly glued into notebooks arranged by Hughes. Correspondence and assorted documentation relating to various organizations comprises the bulk of the collection.

Scope and Contents A collection of more than 1,300 reel-to-reel tapes of big band music collected over a forty-year period. The tapes include recordings of rare radio broadcasts and concerts ("one-night stands") from such famous bandleaders as Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, and Syd Lawrence in addition to thousands of remotes from the big-band era.
