Scope and Contents This collection documents the life and work of Matthew Joseph Bruccoli (1931-2008), who was Jefferies Professor of English at the University of South Carolina for the majority of his academic career. He was a preeminent expert on F. Scott Fitzgerald and also wrote on Ernest Hemingway, Thomas Wolfe and John O’Hara.
