Frederick Busch (1941-20016) was an American writer known primarily for his short stories. He also taught at Colgate University. This collection is composed primarily of the correspondence between Busch and Donald J. Greiner, literary scholar and professor at the University of South Carolina, which started in 1976 and ended with Busch’s death in 2006. The rest of the collection includes manuscript drafts, photographs, and other biographical material.

GAAB was used by Tactical Air Command after 1945 and renamed Greenville Air Force Base with establishment of the U.S. Air Force in 1947. It was renamed again to Donaldson Air Force Base in 1951.
