Abstract Lloyd Hendricks served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1977 to 1987. He was named Legislator of the Year in 1984 by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, and in 1985 by the Greenville News. He was hired as Executive Vice President of the South Carolina Bankers Association in 1986 and served as the public face of the state’s banking industry until his retirement in 2012.

Abstract Formed in January 1973, the Coalition was reorganized in 1975 as a public interest lobby to secure ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment to the federal constitution by South Carolina.
